They look the same, what's the difference?

We have heard hundreds of similar questions from
consumers on the relationship between Sanita and Dansko. We
hope that you will find this information beneficial in helping you make
your next shoe or clog purchase.
For 17 years, all Dansko Professional clogs and all Dansko Stapled
Clogs have been manufactured by Sanita in Europe. The relationship
between Dansko and Sanita ended in August 2007. Shortly after that
time, Sanita began distributing the same high-quality products directly in the US
under their own name. Visually, the clogs look
very similar, however the new Dansko is wider across the heel and has a
curved up sole in the back of the heel.
Sanita has been making cozy, comfortable clogs the Danish way
since 1907. In fact, they were the first to make them. Sanita founder,
Christen Andersen, not only created the first pair by hand, he also
created the first distribution system: the basket of his bicycle.
And that tradition of craftsmanship and caring lives on today in every
clog we make. With innovative design and exacting standards, Sanita clogs
are always easy on your feet. And with all the attractive styles, they’re easy on your eyes as well.
